Crossflow and counterflow cooling towers

Design. Optimise. Supply. Install.

We design, optimise, and supply cooling towers with precision and dependability, focusing on cost-effectiveness. At Truwater, we produce and assemble the majority of our structural components.

Besides, we take pride in choosing the industry's finest mechanical equipment and essential components. And complete with site supervision, assembly, testing, and commissioning. Trwater team of qualified and experienced sales and service personnel collaborate with you to provide technical guidance and field service support.

Cooling Tower Design and Engineering Capabilities.

We use software design programmes and CAD techniques to meet our client's engineering needs.

Our technical design capabilities are kept at the forefront by ongoing research and development programmes and the evaluation of novel design concepts and materials.

Our engineering designs cover the following:

1. Counter-flow tower thermal rating programme;

2. Cross-flow tower thermal rating programme;

3. Plume abatement tower thermal rating programme;

4. CTI ToolKit for cooling tower performanceevaluation, prediction and monitoring; and

5. Cooling tower structural analysis programme.

Complete Quality Control from Start to Finish.

We inspect tower components and parts following our quality control programme. Our quality control procedure calls for inspecting tower materials such as wood, steel, fibreglass, and plastics. Equipment such as fan assembly, gearbox, motor, and drive shaft will be tested in collaboration with the equipment's manufacturer. We ensure that supplied items adhere to our engineering standards and contract specifications.

Field erection of cooling tower

Field erection of cooling towers requires skilled labour, adherence to safety protocols, and coordination between construction teams, manufacturers, and engineers to ensure a successful installation. Our erection crews are well-trained and possess the knowledge and skills to undertake erection contracts confidently. After field erection is complete, the cooling tower undergoes testing and commissioning to verify its performance and ensure it meets the specified design requirements. This may involve performing leak and functional testing of mechanical and electrical systems.

Before beginning physical erection work, we will closely examine the erection schedule and identify the critical path. Additionally, our supervisor will identify all applicable local regulatory requirements on construction practises, building codes, and safety requirements. Our team will assess the staging area's availability, the equipment's availability, the staffing's strengths and skill level, and other variables, such as the prevailing weather conditions that may impact the erection methods and schedule.

Inspection & Upgrading

We conduct cooling tower inspections to investigate and evaluate the current condition of your cooling tower. After each inspection, our experienced engineer will provide you with a report detailing the overall physical appearance, the current level of thermal operation, structural condition, mechanical equipment status, and potential for upgrading.

We utilise modern techniques for upgrading or retrofitting to optimise the performance of your cooling tower. Our strategy involves a step-by-step investigation, including pre-testing of the tower, physical inspection, engineering analysis, fabrication, and post-testing to determine the degree of improvement.
